About Charlotte & Herb

Charlotte & Herb have a vast background in the entertainment industry. Through their company, Charlotte Russe Music, Inc., they have produced and performed at numerous Special Events in the Tri-State Area. They have written, produced, directed and performed on more than one hundred recordings, including an audio dramatization of “Romeo and Juliet” with Martin Sheen, a Sesame Street album, and Walt Disney projects featuring the legendary Mel Blanc…the voice of Bugs Bunny and friends, performing their original songs.. They have also enjoyed serving as musical director/composer/ lyricist on numerous children’s videos.

A dynamic performer, Charlotte graduated Magna Cum Laude, from Baruch College of the City University of New York. She brings to each lecture her background in writing, producing, as well as performing. Charlotte is a member of N.A.R.A.S. (National Academy of Recording Arts and Science – host of the Grammy Awards) as well as A.S.C.A.P (American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers). Alfred Music publishes her song catalogue.

Herb received his B.A. & M.A. in Music Education from Queens College. He served as music supervisor and composer for Newbery Award Records- dramatizations of books chosen by the American Library Association for their distinguished contribution to American literature. A total music professional, he has performed on many network television shows, Radio & T.V. commercials. He is a member of A.F.T.R.A. (American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) as well as A.S.C.A.P. and the American Federation of Musicians. His song catalogue is published by Alfred Music.
